      After Khmer rouge regime collapsed in 1979, Phnom Penh was completely destroyed. All buildings houses, streets, etc were in ruins. It was called ghost city. Over the past few decades, the government has tried to develop in all areas. The authority and people altogether endeavored to restore the city step by step and got over many difficulties to improve the image of Phnom Penh. Currently, Phnom Penh became a beautiful city. It is the center of economic, trade and culture of Cambodia. Phnom Penh is different now than it was ten years ago in several major ways. To begin with, Phnom Penh has developed a lot of social infrastructures. Phnom Penh authority tries to develop all kinds of infrastructure. For example many streets are constructed and widen. Under grown pipe systems are set to prevent flooding during rainy season. Bridges and fly over are built in order to make the traffic condition better. Many parks are redecorated such as the parks along riverside, parks along Russian confederation Blvd; Parks along Preh Sihanouk Blvd. they all look lovely now .in addition, many government buildings are built . for instance, national assembly, ministry of tourism, ministry of commerce, ministry of foreign affair and international cooperation, especially prime minister’s offfice building . moreover, many other infrastructures such as schools, hospitals,
